Its strength is the carrier base behind every Nascenda oil: cold-pressed argan, hazelnut, and sweet almond, which condition and replenish the skin. Alongside them, concentrated rosehip and pomegranate seed CO₂ extracts bring facial-grade actives, rich in vitamin A and rare punicic acid, to the whole body.
The essential-oil blend is what gives Affirm its character: the oils of the invigorating spa massage. Cypress and juniper are toning and astringent, with a crisp, green, resinous scent. Cistus adds labdanum, the amber-sweet resin of the Mediterranean rockrose, one of the most astringent botanicals there is. Calabrian bergamot lifts the top, bright and clean.
At the heart sits Corsican helichrysum, the immortelle. It is one of the only plants on earth to carry italidiones, compounds with studied anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity, which places it among the most prized and most expensive oils in skincare.
Beneath everything, atlas cedar and frankincense, the sacred resins burned in Mediterranean temples and churches across millennia, give the blend a warm, woody depth that lingers on the skin.

Can I use Affirm during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
No. Affirm is formulated for post-lactation use only — for the years after pregnancy and nursing. During pregnancy, use Nurture, which is essential-oil-free and formulated for every trimester. While breastfeeding, use Rebirth, which is assessed safe for the nursing period.
What does "post-lactation" mean?
It means after you have finished breastfeeding. Affirm contains a fuller essential-oil blend than Nurture or Rebirth, chosen for the body once it is no longer shared — so it is intended for the years beyond pregnancy and nursing, not during them.
What is Affirm for?
Affirm is an everyday body oil for the years after pregnancy and breastfeeding — a fresh, invigorating blend to condition the skin and mark the return of the body to itself. Unlike the maternity phases, it has no time limit: it is made to be used for as long as you like.
What does Affirm smell like?
Fresh, green, and woody — a conifer brightness of cypress and juniper, a lift of bergamot, and a warm base of atlas cedar, frankincense, and a trace of immortelle. Clean and resinous, in a Mediterranean spa register, from real botanicals with no synthetic fragrance.
Is juniper or cypress oil safe to use?
Yes, in the species and concentration used here. Affirm uses Juniperus communis (juniper berry) and Cupressus sempervirens (Mediterranean cypress) — the safe species — assessed by a qualified toxicologist under EU cosmetics regulation. It is, however, formulated for post-lactation use and not for pregnancy or breastfeeding.
How is Affirm different from Nurture and Rebirth?
All three share the same nutrient-dense carrier base. Nurture is unscented and essential-oil-free, for pregnancy. Rebirth adds a low, nursing-safe blend for the postpartum and breastfeeding months. Affirm is the fullest and most invigorating of the three, for the years beyond — when the body is wholly your own again.
